Q. If I order on-line can I be assured that the transaction is secure?
A. We utilize SSL™ to ensure safe, secure transactions. SSL™ (Secured Sockets Layer) is designed to establish a secure connection between your computer and ours using encryption technology. Encryption translates your confidential order information into a secret code that only we can read. This is the most effective way to ensure that your order information is protected. We also require you to enter your credit card number each time you order, since we do not want to store this sensitive information on our site. Your credit card information is used only to process your order. We believe these elements provide a very secure shopping environment.
Q. Who do I contact if I have a problem with my order?
A. We are ready to help if you have questions about your order. You can submit an email to customerservice@animalimplants.com and get a response within 24 hours or call 1-814-899-4957 during regular business hours Eastern Time.
Q. When will my credit card be charged?
A. For items that are in stock, your credit card will be charged when your order is shipped to you. For items that are backordered, we will charge your credit card when we fill your order. For special orders we require payment of 50% at time of order and the balance at time of shipment.
Q. When I submit the order, what kind of confirmation will I get that you have received it?
A. Upon receipt of your order, we will send you an e-mail confirmation (if you have set a username and password) that contains all the information you need to track the delivery of your shipment online at Animalimplants.com.
Q. If I do not live in the US, can I still order online?
A. At this time we only ship to registered customers within the United States.
Q. Do you have a print catalog?
A. All of our items are listed on the web site for easy ordering. We do not maintain a print catalog to keep advertising expenses low thereby passing the savings on to our customers.
Q. What materials are used in these products?
A. Our implants are made from the same high quality 316L stainless steel & 100% identical to US industry leaders. The manufacturing companies follow the ISO 5832/1 requirements just as the major suppliers do. No difference in material quality. These are direct from orthopedic manufacturing companies following the recognized, International quality standards.
Q. Can we set up a billing account for our office?
A. We think the credit card option as the easiest way to pay on line. This helps reduce administrative expenses and keep costs low. If you have a need to open an account please e-mail us at: customerservice@animalimplants.com for our terms.
Q. Do you service larger institutional or academic accounts?
A. We service larger accounts, developing specific order programs to fill your requirements. Send us a message and we will contact you about this option. This certainly can be a big area for cost savings.
Q. Why do I have to register to shop on line?
A. All of our products are sold for veterinary use only. They are not sold directly to the general public. Part of the registration process is to make sure we have the proper identification on file for your office or clinic.
Q. Can we request other products not currently listed in the store?

Q. Do you have a sales rep that can visit our clinic?
A. To keep our costs low, we do not have a direct sales force or commission based sales reps. Our only sales channel is our on line store saving you the commission rates.
Q. What about the various shipping options?
A. UPS provides a wide range of shipping options you can choose for your order. They can be Next Morning 8:00 a.m. to UPS regular ground. During checkout, you can choose how fast you would like your order delivered.
